Come cook at my mother's table

Manash is a small kitchen where you learn traditional Persian cooking, bread and pastry by hand — then sit down together to a full meal, and carry home everything you made.

You will not just watch

Every seat has its own board, its own dough, its own apron. Whatever you shape with your hands that day goes home with you in a basket.

What a seat includes

1

Hands-on from the first minute

Your own station, your own dough. I work the table beside you the whole way through.

2

A full Persian meal

Brunch, lunch, or dinner depending on the session — I cook it at home, and we eat at one long table.

3

Everything you made, boxed up

The bread you baked, the pastry you shaped, the preserves you jarred. It leaves with you, still warm.

4

An apron and a recipe booklet

Yours to keep, so the recipes work the same way in your own kitchen.

Why “Manash”?

If today I have something to offer and to teach, it is all thanks to the model of my life — my mother.

Manash is what my sons called my mother. She filled our home with cardamom, rosewater and freshly baked sweets, and turned every Yalda night into something nobody forgot. She was my first teacher — everything I share at this table began at hers.

Before you book

Do I need any cooking experience?

None. Most guests have never shaped a loaf or laminated a pastry before. The whole point is that you learn it with your hands, next to someone who has done it a thousand times.

Can you work around allergies or dietary needs?

Yes — tell me when you book and I'll plan around it. Vegetarian is always easy; please give me a week's notice for anything more involved.

Is the workshop in English or Persian?

Both. I teach in whichever language the table speaks, and usually a warm mix of the two.

What if I can't make it?

Let me know and your payment becomes credit toward any future workshop. It doesn't expire, and you're welcome to pass it to a friend.

Can I book for a group or a private session?

Yes. Private workshops for birthdays, showers, and team gatherings can be arranged — get in touch and we'll find a date.

There is always room at the table

Pick a date, bring your appetite, and leave with bread under your arm.
